Kas Yu 余雪伦


is a queer Chinese artist known for her work in photography, videography, writing, and activism. Graduating in 2023 from The School of Visual Arts in New York, she majored in photography and video. Yu's artistic focus revolves around themes of feminism, race, gender, philosophy, and culture. She sees photography as an extension of the human mind, using cameras as tools to perceive and interpret the world. Yu approaches her work with intentionality, aiming to create thought-provoking images. She believes in the continuous study and practice of photography as the foundation for artistic growth.
